For those who know me well, it's no surprise that I love the Soldano sound so much. It's basically the guitar tone that made me want to design guitar effects from the beginning! Well... this one and a cranked vintage Marshall Plexi. Last year I had a SLO-100 for while that Mike Soldano was letting me borrow. I thought it couldn't get any better than that. I was wrong - Mike and the Soldano team have done it even *better* here with the SLO-30! Normally folks love the high gain distortion tones in these amps, and don't get me wrong - they ARE fantastic. However, for my style it's the lower gain stuff that I use quite often personally and this amp checks off that box like few other amps do.
