Pretty much every single day of the week I use my Axe-FX III as a platform for pedal and guitar demos, to practice, to get creative or just to explore with. For about three years it has been my studio rock and I'm still finding amazing presets and possibilities that I haven't tried before. This one, written by Simeon Harris - "Lots of Dots", chains together a heap of stereo and multitap delays, punctuated with stereo chorus and an envelope filter. One for ambient fans, I guess - like me. You could probably do it with 'traditional' pedals and some deft routing, but I just love the virtual modular flexibility of the Fractal system. It's endless fun and inspiration. The first two minutes of this video will visually describe the signal path. The rest is just me indulging. The guitar is a 2017 Charvel HH San Dimas Natural Ash. I love it because it's simple, super-lightweight (3kgs!) and it has speed knobs/pots which make pinky swells easy. Have a good one, everybody.
