Wildwoodians, we are so proud to present the latest offering from Fender Custom's Artisan line: the Ziricote Stratocaster. This thing is sweet! It has a roasted ash body, which gives its a bit of vintage flavor. Of course, the top is made of an impressive cut of ziricote, a darker wood that shares many characteristics with Brazilian rosewood. Add in a roasted AAAA flamed maple neck and a macassar ebony fretboard, and you've got a stone cold stunner in the looks department.
Speaking of the fretboard, the Ziricote Stratocaster's handfeel is wonderful thanks to its 9.5"-12" compound radius, which allows for easy chording low on the neck and easy bending up high (the comfy '63 C-shaped neck profile and 6105 frets don't hurt, either!). And, it sounds great thanks to its handwound Poblano single-coil pickups!
We're proud to showcase this beautiful example of the Fender Custom Shop's craftsmanship, and we are sure its myriad aesthetic and sonic delights will inspire you to no end!
