I just love these pickups. From the website:
"Kinman AVn-48 series pickups have thick and focused tone with lots of drive. The uniquely complex Alnico midrange makes for superb definition, a sound with 'attitude' and plenty of output that projects effortlessly through the rest of the band without having to be too loud.
Brad Paisleys favorite pickups and you will feel confidently in charge of the guitar sounds too.
This set has prominent high end shimmer and bigger twang than the 60's Custom set. The excellent dynamic range will delight Tele players who want a distinctive punch. The middle position of the selector switch is a uniquely Kinman sound that some players have said is to die for.
Thanks to out new Chrome plated Nickel-Silver cover the neck pickup is not muffled as the original 60's Fender was, has open and clear Fender sound (real Chrome plated for extra durability and absence of contact noise)
These pickups have Kinman's propriety Alnico low strength magnets, like all our Fender type pickups, so string pull is minimized, sustain is longer and there is less rattle and buzz from the strings crashing into the frets from excessive magnet pull.
My exclusive design allows me to preserve the original appearance of the bridge pickup with white cotton twine coil overlay and the neck unit with it's real Chrome plated plastic cover that does not impact on sonic performance.
Balanced 3rd string loudness, Alnico-K** rod magnets for low string pull and no Strat-itis pitch warble. No Ice-pick."
