Friedman and Grover Jackson have been making guitars for a bit now. While they are great guitars, I have always wanted more of an authentic vintage Telecaster type version from them. Dave and Grover had this one at NAMM (already fitted with a genuine Glaser b-bender) and it felt GREAT. It felt right. Over the past few weeks I've been working with Dave and Grover to get the perfect pickups in it and we nailed it I believe.
While some of their guitars are relic'd, and I understand why some people hate guitars that look like they are beat up, to me the relic’ing isn’t about looks, it’s about playability... this is so much more than dings in the paintwork, it’s more about how the neck has been worn in - it just fits in the hands like it was made for me. Tonally, it’s incredible - punchy, spanky and with more bite and spank than I can explain.
If you want to check them out, go to https://friedmanamplification.com/friedman-guitars and ask them about the T-style that I (Brian Wampler) am playing.
