Wow, this Studio Elite HD Barn Find was a blast to play! Let's take a lot at a few of the sweet sounds you can find on its five-way selector switch.
The bridge humbucker is a bit more refined than your typical PAF thoguh it still has plenty of old-school flavor. You'll find muscular bass response, sweet chiming highs, and raspy, biting midrange here. There's a surprising amount of jangle here, too!
The middle single-coil is brash with plenty of British Invasion clang. It has plenty of bell-like overtones in the high end, and it jangles like nobody's business, but it still has plenty of muscle and grunt.
The neck single coil is smoother and glassier, and it has fat, open, sonorous lows to go with vocal upper midrange and sunny yet transparent highs.
Each pickup has a brighter voice, which makes the mid-boost switch especially delightful. You can instantly warm up each of the above tones with big, broad, powerful midrange response with a click of a button.
Anyone searching for a supremely versatile Tyler will love this Barn Find!
