This 1955 Telecaster from Masterbuilder Greg Fessler is a true blonde bombshell! Of course, Mr. Fessler's heavily-relic'd finish looks outstanding, but this serial is a tonal heart-stopper too! It's quite snappy, and it responds to your right lightning fast with an impeccably articulate woody, percussive attack. The high end here is loaded with beautiful sparkling overtones, the midrange growls, and the low end is nice and tight. In the bridge position, you'll find the sort of Joe Strummer-approved bell-like clang that makes playing big, crashing chords and absolute joy through a distorted amp. Of course, all you need to do to access glorious jangle and twang is flip to the clean channel. Switching to the neck position gives you a wonderful mellow sound. The neck pickups lows are warm and its lows are smooth and clear. The midrange is also quite delightful--lots of vocal, almost Strat-like quack that motivates you to play expressive, soulful leads and smooth rhythms. Anyone looking for a Tele with classic sounds for days will love this fearsome Fessler!
