This is a close up descriptive review of a Gibson Custom Shop Spotlight (they did not use 'Special' in the name of this reissue) Les Paul from 2008. Most people never see guitars like this, so I thought you might like to see one as it really is and with all the fine details included.
This is a reissue of the original from 1984 and this Custom Shop Gibson Les Paul is really the peak of Gibson workmanship. Some people think that only PRS Paul Reed Smith can make great guitars, but they would be wrong and this Gibson shows off what quality is coming out of the Custom Shop these days, even if a little pricey (as PRS is too).
If you want to hear this guitar then check out the video for the AFD100 Marshall Video 2 and I use this guitar among others on that video on my channel.
Visit my website for a written overview of this guitar from 2008 as well as many other unbiased reviews of equipment for musicians. This video is from a series I have developed in June 2012. I do hope you gain something from it and that this video shows the guitar in a way that you have not seen it before. Visit http://www.tonymckenzie.com
Check out the other Guitars in the series of videos including: Gibson Les Paul Jimmy Page, PRS Dragon III, Gibson Les Paul Spotlight (This Video), PRS Dragon 2002 (you gotta see that) and a couple of other videos showing how to remove scratches from a 2005 PRS Custom 24 Artist pack guitar and a PRS Custom 24 from 1991 which was made for me at that time. There may well be more to come.
PLEASE SUBSCRIBE AND RING THE BELL. And if you like the video then thumbs up! Thanks - its always appreciated and I won't bombard you with reviews!
You might want to note that none of these guitars are kept at my home - just in case you want to visit in the night. But I'll be there waiting for you.
