Hey Fellas in this upload we look into how not all Vintage Guitars have to be expensive to be cool!
I Recently came upon a deal i couldn't refuse on a Harmony Meteor H70, i love these old guitars and ESPECIALLY love the lo-fi Tones to be had. Ive owned quite a few Harmonys over the years but never owned a H70 but have always had one in my watch list. They were at the time Harmonys top of the line model and rightly so because they are great players.
This particular one has definitely been a players guitar and has a few replaced parts nothing to which will alter the tone. It has new dials and bridge and also the tuners have been replaced but all that didn't bother me. It was the pickups and body i was looking for and i'm happy to report they are all original 1961's .
This is quite a long video with a lot of my personal thoughts on these particular guitars, i take the strings off , clean down the fretboard , restring it then get into some clean and dirty tones at the end of the video. I hope you enjoy this video and it becomes helpful for anybody looking out for these old dragons.
This will undoubtedly be used in upcoming videos , forgive the hams i'm still adjusting to her neck !
I have started up a tip jar as such to help push the channel and to help me, a patreon page is coming soon but in all honesty i put everything into these videos i couldn't see how i could make a patreon page any different? ill look into this though.
If you guys are in a place where you feel you could tip and a HUGE thank you to those who have already you can donate to
Fretjunkiestv@gmail.com I SINCERELY APPRECIATE IT .
