In this guitar lesson we explore versatile concepts for mastering a variety of guitar techniques including Chicken Pickin. I break down my own philosophy for when it comes to guitar techniques, hoping to give you some fresh ideas to use of your own.
Second half of the video we go in-depth in my approach to hybrid picking. As you can see, once you have the fundamentals, you can apply the extra fingers into single note lines (especially useful for ascending lines that change strings), double stops, string skipping as well as you can provide an almost piano-like sound to your chordal playing. If you learned a thing or two for the first time here, I appreciate if you keep credit where it's due, especially when it comes to the newly invented 5-note hybrid picking technique.
