Over the past few years, I have been on the search for budget-friendly wireless in-ear monitors to use at my church. I have tried out one expensive (to me) in ears and two other "budget" in ears. Either they were too expensive and lacked features, or they were the right budget, but didn't hold up over time.
Then there is the Phenyx Pro PTM-10 wireless in-ear monitor system. I have tested them out for two months and must say that they hit the sweet spot as far as budget, quality, and features. At the $200 price, they are on the low end, but in quality and features, they compare to the mid/high level of other IEMs.
The sound quality is great, no dropouts on stage. The plastics are of high quality. It has a detachable antenna on the receiver and is rack mountable. They come with a cheap pair of headphones that I did not use, but they would work in a pinch. They frequency setup is super easy and has many channels to choose from. Also, they are stereo if you are needing a stereo set on IEMs.
Overall, I am very happy with these in-ear monitors and my buy three of four more sets for my team to use and get rid of the other ones.
