The Catalinbread Topanga II retains the drip and outboard spring reverb saturation of the original while adding a whole new dimension of reverb for those looking for deeper waters. The new plus switch not only extends the spring length but adds subtle, swaying modulation to the wet signal. The interactive controls really allow you to push the front end of your amp like vintage reverb units, thanks to the Toganga’s preamp volume and tone controls. The Dwell also sets how hard the virtual spring are being driven and the mix goes from 100 wet to dry. The Catalinbread Topanga II offers all this plus true bypass or buffered trails, 9-18V operation and is handbuilt in Portland, OR.
