Is it just me, or do heavily relic'd Jazzmasters have an absurd amount of vibe and mojo? This serial certainly does! It has an incredibly articulate, percussive attack that blooms into glorious full resonance. The bridge pickup has plenty of bite and snap in the midrange along with tight lows beneath lush, sunny, three-dimensional trebles. If you like stinging lead tones, sparkling punchy distorted tones, or jangly clean rhythms, the bridge will get the job doen and then some. The neck pickup has throaty, open midrange to go with warm, round lows and sweet, singing highs; in other words, the sort of sound bound to pull expressive solos out of your fingers. It's also great for mellow chord work. Anyone looking for a Jazzmaster with plenty of old-school magic will love this serial!
