In this vid, we look at two examples of 1960s guitar amps built by little-known Radionic Industries in Chicago. This same company now makes lighting ballasts, but in the 1960s, they apparently got into the guitar amp business for a few years, making amps for Kay, Custom Kraft, and also these two obscure beauties, one a Samson Model 803C - distributed by Midwest Musical Instrument Company of Effingham, IL, today Kaman (KMC Music), and a Truetone Model 9528D, distributed by Western Auto.
