Scott Sill takes a look at the PRS (Paul Reed Smith) Tonare Grand acoustic guitar. He plays the songs "Something" by the Beatles, "Lenny" by Stevie Ray Vaughan, and some original songs. He goes through many different styles of playing to show off all the tonal qualities of this beautiful guitar.
The guitar has a European spruce top, Coca Bola back and sides, along with a coca bola fretboard and bridge. The tuners were made special for this guitar and this is one of the earlier models of the Tonare Grand featuring different inlay than what is offered today.
The guitar was recorded using a Shure SM-57 microphone and mixing it with the overhead mics on the Zoom H4n.
