Scott Sill takes you through each pickup in the new Gibson Les Paul Tribute which is an homage to Lester William Polsfuss (Les Paul). Scott plays through his pedal board showing the many sounds you can get with this guitar and then takes you through each pickup setup one by one. He plays a lick with a clean sound and then adds some dirty to it using an Ibanez Handwired Tubescreamer (TS-808HW).
The Les Paul Tribute is a replica to the 1952 Les Paul down to the electronics using original orange drop capacitors, and the proper tailpiece that Les Paul had wanted on the guitar. Gibson ended up using a different one, but this time they put the tail piece that Les had patented. The guitar has 2 P90s, is not weight relieved, had a laser etched image of Les Paul on the headstock, and has Les' actual signature on the pickguard.
