Vox Essex Bass Amp
SPECS:
This is a very limited run (120 worldwide, with 60 staying in USA, so 60 for the rest of the world) of the exact bass that Paul McCartney played at the Queen's Jubilee concert. The serial numbers are 1953 - 2012 representing each one of the years that Queen Elizabeth II has been on the throne. It's essentially a 62 spec Hofner Violin bass but it's the only official re-creation of the bass made famous by Sir Paul McCartney at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert. This individual version of Hofner's legendary Violin Bass is now available in an extremely limited edition Union Jack finish.
This Hofner HCT Violin Bass features the distinctive style of the original with the playability of a more modern instrument. As with all other Contemporary Series semi-acoustic guitars, the Violin Basses are equipped with an internal centre sustain block to reduce on-stage feedback.
