Here is a great utility vintage instrument. This thing sounds surprisingly amazing. HUGE, boomy bottom end, very much like a real 60s Gibson Dove. It sounds so good, I wouldn't be the least bit ashamed to lay down tracks with this in the studio. Excellent projection, balance, and sustain.
It's X-braced, solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, full binding, real mother of pearl inlays on the fretboard and bridge. The neck is laserbeam straight and the action is better than any other guitar in my collection right now. Extremely low. Comfortable even playing bar chords high up on the neck.
Condition-wise, there is some finish checking in spots. No cracks. No breaks. There is some bellying around the bridge, but the saddle is adjustable, and there is a lot of break over the saddle. There are some spots on the back where someone spilled super glue on it, maybe? Not sure what it is, but it's purely cosmetic.
