2) Quilter 101 Mini Head
Quilter have made a name for themselves as the premier brand for solid state amps. The 101 Mini Head packs all those tones in a super portable format.
3) Orange MicroTerror/Micro Dark
Featuring a 12AX7 tube in the preamp, the Micro Terror and Micro Dark pack great tones in a tiny package.
4) Diago Little Smasher
The Diago Little Smasher is unique among all the amps on the list in that it can be powered by the same 9V power supply that you used for the rest of your pedals. Though only 5 watts, the little smasher punches above it’s weight to keep up with a drummer!
5) Crate Powerblock
The Crate Powerblock is the original Class D backup mini head. Though discontinued, they’re still popular and regularly available used on eBay.
